Key Components of Express Entry

Skilled Immigration Focus

Express Entry primarily focuses on skilled workers who meet specific criteria, including education, work experience, language proficiency (English and/or French), and other factors like age and adaptability.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)

Eligible candidates are ranked based on a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. This score is calculated using various factors that assess a candidate's human capital and potential to succeed economically in Canada.

Invitations to Apply (ITAs)

The Canadian government regularly conducts "draws" from the Express Entry pool. Candidates with CRS scores above the cut-off receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.

The Application Process

Once invited, candidates have a limited time (typically 60 days) to submit a complete permanent residency application with all supporting documents. Jolboxx provides meticulous assistance throughout this entire process.

Express Entry Manages Three Programs

Express Entry facilitates applications under Canada's federal economic immigration programs:

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

For individuals who have worked in Canada in eligible jobs. Candidates must meet minimum language requirements and have at least one year of skilled work experience in Canada.

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

For skilled workers with eligible foreign work experience. Candidates are assessed on factors like education, language proficiency, work experience, age, arranged employment, and adaptability.

Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

For skilled workers qualified in a skilled trade. Candidates must have a valid job offer or certificate of qualification in a skilled trade and meet language requirements.
